ABOUT

I am originally from Reykjavik, Iceland, where I graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland.

I started my professional career in Iceland where I worked part time along side my studies at Arion bank as a Service agent and later a specialist in Service Management. After graduating from UI, I worked as a Business Analyst in Business Development for Sýn hf., which I continued part time while taking my Masters degree in Denmark.

MOVING TO DENMARK, DTU & NEXI GROUP

In 2022 I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where I graduated from the Industrial Engineering & Management Master's program at the Technical University of Denmark.
My thesis, which received a grade of 10, was on investment decision making for alternative energy in the maritime sector.

After graduating, I landed a position at Nets, part of Nexi Group. I am currently part of the Graduate Program at Nexi Group.

SPORTS

Sports have always been a big part of my life. I enjoy staying active and have played a variety of sports over the years. My favorites include football, running, kayaking, skiing, and golf.

I played football with KR Reykjavik, where some of my personal highlights were breaking into the senior squad and winning the U21 National Championship, which qualified us for the UEFA Youth League.

MUSIC

I enjoy having a creative outlet in my life, which shows up in different ways. Like building this website, designing Power BI dashboards, and especially playing the piano.
